 Supporting the Community

I am pleased to outline some of the important relationships between our law firm and the community including charitable and business organisations which remain a central focus in our ongoing strategy.

Working to serve the community in charitable projects in Australia and overseas, I am proud to be a member of the West Perth Rotary Club. In 2010/11 the Rotary Club has committed to;

  • Supporting children battling cancer, by providing dinner at Ronald McDonald House for the children and their families;
  • Sending recycled medical equipment from Australian Hospitals to underprivileged countries in need of basic equipment and supplies; and
  • Spearheading a project called Treemission in conjunction with and under the rules of the National Trust to replant degraded areas with natural vegetation including the involvement of children in School based projects. 

A close relationship with Radio 6PR means that we are able to offer a service to the community by providing legal advice to listeners at a regular timeslot on the Monday afternoon drive program at 3.30pm with Howard Sattler.  We are committed to continuing this service to the community and podcasts are captured on this website of interesting and informative topics.  Tune in to 6PR or click on a Podcast to hear some of the latest issues being discussed at the moment.

Havilah Legal is a proud member of The Local Chambers networking organisation which boasts a membership of over 500 businesses from a range of fields.  With the move to Adelaide House at 200 Adelaide Terrace in the Perth CBD, Bruce has a keen interest in the local issues facing the city precinct businesses operating within it.  He is currently President on the Perth chapter.

The RSL is an organisation close to the hearts of Australians.  As a sponsor of and the solicitor for the West Australian state branch, Havilah Legal has the honour of serving some of the war veterans and members who are part of this proud tradition.

For the numerous other organisations which I haven’t listed here with whom we share a productive partnership and their support and friendship is highly valued.
