The RSL and Local Chambers sponsorship

With summer upon us it is fitting to update our valuable clients and stakeholders about the recent exciting initiatives and new partnerships forged at Havilah Legal.

While already proud sponsors of Swimming WA, The WA Rugby League and the WA Reds, and The Local Chambers and other business and charitable associations, Havilah Legal is proud to have recently accepted an offer to be a sponsor and the legal advisor to the Returned Services League of Australia (RSL) - WA Branch Inc.

As the RSL has a proud tradition of serving current and former members of the Australian Defence Forces and its Allies and through its Australia wide network is well placed to ensure excellence in delivery of service to those who have served their country, their objectives are very synergistic to the values of Havilah Legal.

“We are extremely proud to be considered fit to partner the RSL of WA” principal Bruce Havilah commented about the partnership. With a grandfather who served in World War 2 and fought with fellow Australians along the Kokoda Trail, it is an Association which is very important to me and should be to all Australians.

The last few weeks were very busy with many Associations holding their Annual General Meetings. On Tuesday 27 October The Local Chambers held their AGM at the Swan Tafe restaurant in Bentley.

As a close partner and sponsor of the Local Chambers, Bruce Havilah was once again elected to the Board of The Local Chambers and also was elected to be the Perth City President.

Havilah Legal was also presented with an award at the dinner following the AGM and was recognised for being the Member of the Year receiving the award from Deputy President Terry Snell. and CEO Charles Bellows.

On receiving the award on behalf of the firm, Bruce Havilah said “It is humbling to be recognised amongst a group of such exceptional business owners”.
